Alan Wong's restaurant is one of my favorite fine dining restaurants. The service is top notch.

I recommend trying out at least 2 appetizers. Their appetizers are some of the best I have had. I like the Vine Ripened Tomato salad and "Da Bag".

Great place to go for those extra special occasions. Valet Parking is available.

Gyu-Kaku

Gyu-Kaku is a fun place where you cook your own food over a grill. You order by side dishes so you can try many different things when you go with a larger group.

They also alway seem to run late night specials on dishes and drinks. This place is a fun place to have a drinks and eat. Sometimes they get very busy and you might have to wait (Kapiolani) for a while to get a seat.

If you never tried this type of restaurant, give it a try next time.

Sanoiya Rahmen

This place is a favorite for the late crowd. They are open late and serve large portions and has cheap prices.

I usually get the Udon set which is Chicken Katsu, Kimchee and Udon. This always fills me up.

Service over here is a kind of slow sometimes, they always seem to be busy and seem to need more waiters. Still, this place has its charm.

Sanoiya has a large selection of dishes to choose from. Ramen, curry, yakisoba, donburi and udon. Yum.

This is one of my favorite places to pick up Thai food because it is conveniently located on King Street, across of McCully Zippys. Parking can be tight sometimes but I had no problems before.

I love their Pad Thai (chicken) and eggplant dish. This is one of the better Thai restaurants in Hawaii. The service is also much better than most Thai restaurants.

Sushi Company

This is one of my favorite sushi places because of their great quality, friendly service and good prices.

I recommend the Garlic bento or Spicy Ahi Donburi, although you really can't go wrong in ordering anything over here.

They got sushi platters so this is my favorite place to stop before a UH game, karaoke or party. I like to order ahead of time and just pick it up.

I'll take this place over Kozo and Sushi man any day.
