My Family and I visted Makino Chaya this evening. Arrived early for our reservation at 530PM. The food was already out and I was so excited because I love Japanese food. I found the food to be DISAPPOINTING to say the least. The fried shrimp and vegetable Tempura was Cold and Oily. The sushi was tasteless and the advertised special of "Lobster" was actually crayfish not lobster. The cook sparingly placed it out and I did not have a chance to taste it. We found the kitchen to be filty and I have never seen such large flies in the kitchen and on the food. The department of health should really close this restaurant down. We were constantly looking for our server for hot tea to wash the grease from our mouth.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was AWFUL!!!
